On launching before it's done

Usage is like oxygen for ideas. That means every moment you’re working on something without it being in the public it’s actually dying, deprived of the oxygen of the real world. - Matt Mullenweg

I think Matt is pretty smart. I've used WordPress in the past and he knows a thing or two about it. Also, it powers a vast swath of the internet. Also also, it's built on PHP. All that being said, it's why I felt I should launch this before it's done done. That's not a typo.

DHH and Jason Fried from 37 Signals suggest shipping half a product, not a half-assed product. That's what this is. I have the core functionality done. I'm adding more features as time goes on but I wanted to ship what I have because it provides value now and get real world feedback to make the end product even better.

So, if you're looking at this and thinking it's only half done you're half right. I'm shipping half the product now and based on feedback the rest of the product will be better for it. But, it's not shipped half-assed. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. First two seats are free forever and the rest after that are cheap enough that on the dashboard I display how many latte's it is. I hope you enjoy making your stand ups more of an adventure and less of a slog.
